There are a number of digital audio workstations available for every budget. This list is not a recommendation but simply an introduction. There are numerous specialist websites that will compare and contrast each DAW. Professional vocal track editing is often done using ProTools or Nuendo as they often form part of the workflow of film editing suites. For the purpose of shorter tracks (under an hour) all available DAWs have sufficient power for professional editing.
