Try it out - using MarvelGEQ

Exercise notes

• You will need to be familiar DAW such as Cubase AI LE or Ableton Live Lite
• You will need to download and install Voxengo Marvel GEQ
• Voxengo plugins do not work with Audacity

Task

1. In the previous lesson you downloaded the file “Example drum and bass loop.aif”
   • Launch your DAW and open/import the file onto a track
2. Use an insert FX and select “Voxengo Marvel GEQ”
3. Use the DAW transport controls to play back
4. Use the graphic equaliser to remove or accentuate different instruments in the audio recording
